In 2004, the birth of our daughter, Mary, significantly changed our lives. Mary was born after having had an undiagnosed stroke sometime during the second trimester of gestation. After several hospitalizations and a frightening encounter with hydrocephalus, Mary is now a beautiful toddler.

When it became apparent that Mary needed more attention than a daycare could give her, we decided one of the parents needed to stay home with her. To help make ends meet, we started a small embroidery business. FlightlineChairs.com was born of her daddy's hobby - a homebuilt composite aircraft - and her mommy's desire to

be able to stay home and help her special-needs daughter be all that she can be. Working from home, Mary's mommy is able to give Mary the attention she needs and has the flexibility for Mary to see the numerous specialists and therapists that have made such an impact on her life.
